Tim Spang

As Chief Executive Officer, Tim is responsible for setting direction, aligning the organization, and ensuring Headwall delivers consistent value for OEM integrators, industrial partners, and research customers worldwide. His leadership emphasizes disciplined execution, operational clarity, and a seamless customer experience across the company’s global footprint.

Tim brings more than 30 years of leadership in advanced manufacturing, robotics, automation, and medical technology. Before joining Headwall, he held senior roles at Bayer, Haemonetics, Seegrid, Diligent Robotics, Unilife Medical, and Ariba, where he led teams through periods of growth, operational evolution, and technology-driven transformation.

Tim holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University. He also completed advanced German studies at the Goethe-Institut in Munich.
